Ofsted Report

Following inspection in May 2013, the school was placed in Special Measures.  As a result there were three visits by HMI to monitor subsequent progress.  The Section 8 reports in October 2013, February 2014 and June 2014 outline the improvements in school since May 2012.

Elton Primary School became an Academy sponsored by Bury College Education Trust on 1st September 2014.

Our next Ofsted inspection will be after 1st January 2016.  We are striving to be judged as a good school at this time.
